Suzanne Davis

A Greenville University alumna (BA History & Political Science, 2000), Suzanne went on to earn both an MBA and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois. She served in nearly every leadership role at GU from teaching business courses to founding dean of the Briner School of Business, VP of University Relations, Executive VP, and now President. Under her leadership, GU has seen increased enrollment, record donations, new academic programs, and major campus enhancements

Tom Ackerman

Tom Ackerman serves as Vice President for Advancement at Greenville University and has shaped campus culture for over two decades. Since 2002, he’s led the women’s volleyball team to 12 SLIAC titles, 6 NCAA appearances, and holds the record for most wins in program history. A six-time Coach of the Year, Tom blends leadership, strategy, and deep commitment to GU’s mission—building both champions and community along the way.

Ashley Alm

Ashley Alm serves as Assistant Vice President for Advancement at Greenville University, where she brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit development and philanthropy. A passionate connector and strategist, Ashley has a heart for mission-driven work and a talent for building strong donor relationships. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, excellence, and a desire to see GU thrive for generations to come.

Kurt Vonder Haar

Kurt is a results-driven marketing and business development leader with a heart for connecting strategy and people. With experience in B2B and B2C sales, growth marketing, brand building, and sponsorships, he’s helped teams grow revenue and influence. A proud native of Greenville, Illinois, and graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Kurt brings energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to building strong relationships that drive meaningful outcomes.
